Keyword replies to Facebook and Instagram comments in Mujib
The Words with a ready answer table on the Comments page sets up keyword replies: each word is linked to a ready reply you write once. Anyone who uses one of those words in a comment gets your reply exactly as written, with no agent writing and no usage. Someone who comments “price”, for example, can get your price list privately.
How do I add a word with a ready reply?
Section titled “How do I add a word with a ready reply?”You add it in the Auto-reply view of the Comments page; each rule holds one or more words and one reply.
- Open Comments, then Auto-reply, and scroll to Words with a ready answer.
- Press Add a new word.
- Under When someone writes, type the word and press Enter. Add every way people write it with Add another spelling, up to 12 spellings.
- Leave Catch small spelling slips on if the rule should catch small slips.
- Write The ready reply in What they receive, up to 900 characters.
- Choose Where it goes: a private message, a public reply under the comment, or a private message followed by a public note.
- Press Save.

You can add up to 20 rules. Both public placements need public replies to be enabled for your business, which is available on request. See Comment auto reply.
How does Mujib match the word in a comment?
Section titled “How does Mujib match the word in a comment?”Mujib looks for the word as a whole word among the comment’s words; it never matches part of another word. In Arabic it also matches the word with the article or a preposition attached in front, or a pronoun at the end, so «سعر» matches «السعر», «بسعر» and «سعره». Plurals and other forms are different words, so write every form your customers use, such as “price”, “prices” and «سعر».
- Small slips: Like «prcie» for «price». Short words (3 letters) must be spelled exactly.
- Diacritics and letter forms: a word reads the same with or without diacritics, and with any form of alef.
- Switching slips off: turn Catch small spelling slips off for a rule, and only your exact spellings match it.
What happens when a word matches a comment?
Section titled “What happens when a word matches a comment?”The person gets your ready reply where you chose, even when the main table says not to answer that kind of comment.
| Situation | Result |
|---|---|
| More than one rule matches | The first rule in the list that matches is used |
| The comment is a complaint | Nothing is sent: Complaints are never answered automatically, even when they contain one of these words. |
| Auto-reply is off | Nothing is sent until you switch on Let the agent answer questions automatically |
| A public placement while public replies are not enabled | Nothing is published under the comment; with a private message plus a public note, only the private message goes |
| A link in a public reply under the comment | Mujib will not save the rule until you remove the link |
Meta’s rule still applies: one private message per comment within 7 days of it being written. And the same person gets one automatic reply a day on the same post, however many times they comment.
How do I test a word before customers use it?
Section titled “How do I test a word before customers use it?”Use the Try a comment box under the table: type a comment the way a customer would, and it tells you at once whether it will be answered, and by which rule.
- If it finds the word as written, it says it will reply and names the word.
- If it finds a close match, it says it will reply because it caught a spelling slip.
- If no word applies, it says the comment will follow its kind in the main table.
- It also warns you when auto-reply is off or public replies are not enabled, so nothing would be sent.
Testing sends no message, so try every form you expect before saving.
Frequently asked questions
Do keyword replies use up my allowance?
No. The ready reply goes out exactly as you wrote it, with no AI and no usage at all.
Is the ready reply sent to a complaint that contains the word?
No. Complaints are never answered automatically, even when they contain one of your words.
Can I put a link in the ready reply?
Yes, when the reply is private. A public reply under the comment never publishes a link.
How many words can I add?
Up to 20 rules, each with up to 12 spellings that share one reply.
What happens if auto-reply is off?
Nothing is sent. Keywords work only while the comment auto-reply switch is on.
