To set up a WhatsApp auto reply with Mujib's AI agent, create your account, go through the setup wizard that reads your website and prepares the agent from your information, test its replies in a private chat, then switch it on and link your business's WhatsApp number. It all happens in the browser, with no new SIM.

## What do I need before I start?

You need your business's WhatsApp number on a phone in your hand, and the information your customers usually ask about.

- **Your business WhatsApp number:** a regular WhatsApp or a WhatsApp Business number; it keeps working on your phone after you connect it.
- **Your website address, if you have one:** Mujib reads its public pages and proposes facts from them. Without a website, you write a short description of your business.
- **The essentials:** your services or products and their fixed prices, your opening hours, and your address, or the fact that you serve online only.
- **Optional files:** a price list or a services brochure as PDF, Word, Excel, CSV or a text file.
- **An alert number (optional):** a phone number other than the business number, which gets a WhatsApp message whenever a customer needs a person.

The account owner or an admin goes through the wizard; staff accounts cannot open it.

## How do I set up the WhatsApp auto reply step by step?

There are seven steps, and the wizard leads you through most of them from one screen to the next.

1. **Create your account:** open `https://app.mujib.ai/register`, answer **How do you want to start?** at the top of the form by picking how you want to start, then fill in **Business name**, **Your name**, **Email** and **Password**. 2. **Introduce your business:** the setup wizard opens by itself. Type your business name and your website address, or carry on without a website.
3. **Review what Mujib understood:** complete the four essentials (services, business model, opening hours and location), approve or reject each proposed fact, and upload files if you like.
4. **Test the agent:** in the wizard's third stage you ask the agent what your customers would ask, then approve a reply that represents your business. See [Test the agent](https://docs.mujib.ai/en/start/test-chat/).
5. **Switch the agent on:** in the fourth stage the wizard shows what the agent will do and what is still missing, asks for an optional alert number, and then you save and switch it on.

> You can pause the wizard at any stage with the save button at its top, and come back later on the same device; your draft and your test conversation are kept there.
## How long does it take to get the agent running?

It usually takes a few minutes; the longest parts are reading your website and reviewing the facts.

- **Reading the website:** usually one to three minutes, as the wizard itself says. If you close or reload the page the read keeps going, and you find the result when you come back.
- **Reviewing the facts:** depends on the size of your website and how many facts are proposed. This is the step worth your time, because the agent answers from these facts alone.
- **Linking WhatsApp:** seconds after you type the code into your phone.

## Does the agent answer my customers during setup?

No. Nothing is published or sent to your customers during setup, and the agent answers no customer until you switch it on yourself.

- The test in the wizard is a private conversation between you and the agent that nobody else sees.
- Connecting channels comes after activation on purpose, so that an agent with unfinished information never answers your customers.
- If you switch the agent on before connecting a channel, it stays saved and starts answering as soon as a channel is connected.

## What do I do after switching it on?

Open **Overview**: if the agent is still missing something, the **Set up your agent** card shows its steps, and it disappears once they are done.

| **Set your location on the map** | Your branch has no map location, so the agent sends the written address |
