# WhatsApp to Google Sheets with a sheet that fills itself

Mujib's Google Sheets integration sends your WhatsApp, Instagram and Messenger activity to a sheet it creates in your Google Drive, adding a row for every new customer, booking or order. You connect it by signing in with Google, with no keys and no code, and Mujib reaches only the sheet it made.

The sheet helps if you track customers and bookings in a spreadsheet, want to share what happens day by day with people outside Mujib, or build your reports with Google's tools.

## How do I connect Google Sheets to Mujib?

You press the Google button, pick the account and allow the permission, and Mujib brings you back to the Integrations page with the sheet created.

1. Open **Integrations** and press **Connect** on the Google Sheets card.
2. Press **Connect with Google** and pick the Google account you want the sheet in.
3. Allow the permission Google asks for.
4. Mujib brings you back to **Integrations**, with the Google Sheets card open and the linked account on it.
5. Press **Open the sheet** to see the sheet.

Once connected, all four events are sent: **New customer**, **New booking**, **Booking cancelled** and **Order accepted**. Untick on the card any event you do not want.

> If you cancel on Google's page before finishing, you come back to Mujib with a message that nothing was connected. If you wait on Google's page until the request expires, press **Connect with Google** again.
## What is in the Google sheet?

The sheet is named after Mujib and your business, and has three tabs, "Customers", "Bookings" and "Orders", each with a frozen header row.

- Tab and column names follow your business's language in Mujib, and the sheet runs right to left when that language is Arabic.
- A booking's time is the branch's local time, as the customer was given it; the other dates and times are in your business's time zone.
- The sheet belongs to your Google account: nobody else sees it unless you share it from Google.
- The same row is never added twice, even when the same event arrives more than once.
- The bookings tab stays empty if your business does not take bookings, and so does the orders tab if it does not take orders.

## What permission does Mujib ask Google for?

Mujib asks for the narrowest permission that does the job: access to the files it creates itself, not to the rest of your Drive.

- Mujib stores the permission encrypted and uses it only to add rows.
- You can remove it at any time in your Google account settings; disconnecting the integration in Mujib stops the sending.
- If you remove it in Google, sending stops, and after 3 failed sends the card shows **Problem**. Disconnect and connect again to restore it.

## What if the sheet was deleted, or I want a new one?

Disconnect Google Sheets and connect it again, and Mujib creates a new sheet and starts writing to it.

1. Open the Google Sheets card, press the button at the bottom that starts with **Disconnect**, and confirm.
2. Press **Connect**, then **Connect with Google**, as the first time.

The old sheet stays in your account as it is, and Mujib adds nothing to it after you disconnect. The new sheet starts empty; the old sheet's rows are not copied into it.

## How do I know the rows are arriving?

The Google Sheets card shows the time of the last send, and **Latest sends** lists every event and its result.

- **Delivered**: the row was added.
- **Nothing to send**: there was nothing to add, such as an event whose row was already added.
- **Not delivered**: the row was not added, and the reason shows next to it. If Google does not answer, Mujib tries up to 5 times on its own.

## Frequently asked questions

### Can Mujib read my other files in Google Drive?

No. Mujib asks for a permission that reaches only the files it creates itself, which means this one sheet.

### Can I pick a sheet I already have instead of a new one?

No. Mujib creates its own sheet when you connect, with its tabs and columns. You can copy from it into your other sheets with Google's own tools.

### Is the booking row edited when a booking is cancelled?

No. A new row with the cancelled status is added and the original booking row stays as it was, so the record stays complete.

### Do customers from before I connected appear?

No. The sheet starts empty when you connect, and everything new is added from then on.

### How do I stop Mujib's access to my Google account?

Disconnecting it on the Google Sheets card stops all sending at once. To withdraw the permission itself, remove Mujib in your Google account settings. The sheet stays in your account either way.
